AWARENESS THE PASSAGE TO HAPPINESS JOURNEY

Daniel Slot grew up in the often-violent inner city during the mid-1960s, where he quickly gained insight into the mindset and challenges faced by those in his community. Raised in a religious, fundamentalist Christian household, Dan was given a strong moral foundation, though he still wrestled with profound questions about God and human suffering that remained unanswered.

As a teenager, Dan made a pivotal decision to shift his focus from mere survival to the pursuit of happiness. Motivated to support his family and build a better future, he began by mowing lawns in his neighborhood. This humble start soon expanded into the ownership and management of multiple commercial and residential properties.

Over the years, Dan grew his businesses, got married, and raised three children. With this growth came a deeper sense of purpose. He became more involved in his community, volunteering at his children’s school and eventually helping to found a chartered Montessori high school. Professionally, Dan became a Certified Financial Planner, Stockbroker, and Registered Investment Advisor, earning multiple accolades, including the RE/MAX of Michigan Broker of the Year award.

Despite these successes, Dan continued to seek answers to life’s deeper questions. His journey led him to the works of inspirational thought leaders, which opened his heart and mind to new ideas about love, awareness, and the value of human connection. These revelations gave his life a renewed sense of meaning.

Eventually, Dan sold his real estate company and returned to school. He graduated with honors from Cornerstone University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Today, he devotes his time to helping others as a Certified Life Success Coach, Trainer, Speaker, and Author, sharing the lessons learned from his life’s journey.

Dan lives in West Michigan with his wife of over forty years. Together, they have raised three wonderful children and continue to live a life rooted in growth, purpose, and service.
